One of the two small dogs under the feet of John Golafre's supine figure of the deceased in armour on his tomb in the Parish Church of St. Nicholas, Fyfield, Oxfordshire, UK. The 15th Century tomb is in the form of a memento mori, or a reflection of mortality, with a representation of a decaying corpse underneath a conventional stone figure of the deceased in armour.
