The Castle Arcade, Cardiff. The Casle Arcade in central Cardiff is one of a number of shopping facilities built in this welsh capital city in the 19th Century. Retail and office space occupy two floors of the arcade, with the walkway on the upper floor being reached by staircases. The ground floor passages are occupied by bookshops, cafes, and other small independent traders suited to the historical environment created by the narrow thoroughfare and the Victorian architecture.
