reprap-5.jpg
A detail of the Reprap self-replicating 3D printer invented by Dr Adrian Bowyer, a mechanical engineer at the University of Bath. Using extruded thermoplastic polymer, it can fabricate three-dimensional objects from computer-generated informations and the machine has been designed in such a way that the Reprap is able to make most of the parts to replicate itself.
